Upfront worship

You might be wondering where the name "UpFront" comes from.  Well, it is the name of the band my wife and I started a few years ago in Hagerstown, Maryland.  What started out as a group of friends changed over the years as everyone's life goes into different directions.

The end result is a core group which draws on many friends to fill in when they can for each event.  At first I was really down hearted about it.  But something amazing happened.  Something that made me realize that we are to be creative as we worship God.  Each time we drew on different vocalist and instrumentalist, the sound of the band changed.  Not just a little but a lot some times.  The influences of young people and different instruments make us an evolving and creative focused group of worshipers.  It is a lot of fun this way.  I love it.

Most likely what I offer can be found other places.  I at least hope so.  What I believe you'll find here that isn't posted on a million blogs or web sites is an honest look and teachings about worship.  I'm going to share what I know and suspect as God reveals it to me through scripture and all the ways He communicates with us.
